DENMARK & SWEDEN | FALUKORV A LA JARLSBERG®

NATIONAL DISH

Output: 4 servings


Ingredients

  • 1 falukorv (traditional Swedish sausage)
  • 50 ml French mustard
  • 1 cup shredded Jarlsberg®
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • 150 g fresh thyme


Preparation

Heat the oven to 175°C. Make cuts in the sausage. Put a teaspoon of mustard in each crease. Slice the tomatoes, red onion and zucchini and put a slice in each crease. Put the sausage in an oven tray. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and spread them around the sausage together with the rest of the zucchini and red onion. Chop half the thyme and sprinkle it over the sausage together with the shredded cheese. Add salt and pepper. Cook in oven for 20 minutes or until the cheese turns golden brown. Serve with boiled or mashed potatoes.
